Our website class has asked me to share some information about my personal life, so here you go! I spent most of my school years in western North Dakota in a tiny town called Taylor. The school there was about the same size as Comfrey, so I feel very much at home here. When I was a senior, I moved to Beltrami, Minnesota my senior year and graduated from Fertile-Beltrami high school. I attend Concordia College, Moorhead and Moorhead State University to earn my undergraduate degree. Many years later I went back to school at St. Cloud State University to earn my Master's degree in English and even later attended Mankato State University for my administrative licenses. Although the majority of my time is spent here at school, in my free time I like to cook and read, go to basketball games, and take walks. This is my fifth year at Comfrey. I love being in a small school in a small rural community. Not only because it's just like the communities I grew up in, but because people both in the school and community care for each other and watch out for each other.  The staff really wants every student to be successful, and they frequently go above and beyond what's expected to be there for students. Thanks to both staff and students, this is a great place to spend my days!
