In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was signed into federal law and we were notified that we were awarded federal funds to be used in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

We are seeking input from staff, students, parents and the public on how to best use these funds.  Take less than 5 minutes to fill out the attached 21-22 ESSER III Funds Survey.

1) Learning Loss Funds: Requires ISD #81 to offer programs in summer, afterschool, extended school day, extended school year.

2) Operations, Staffing, Construction & Equipment: Requires ISD #81 to spend on projects including operations, staffing, construction, equipment designed to improve the learning environment in response to the COVID pandemic.  

• Learning Loss Funds:  We are making plans to implement learning loss programs    a) during the summer, b) afterschool beginning the Fall of 2021.
• Operations, Staffing, Construction & Equipment: Consideration is being given to qualifying replacement and repair project. This has been narrowed down to:
